William and Henry
It has been a little over 24 hours since we said goodbye to Henry and it has just hit William hard. William has never been good with emotions, being on the Autistic spectrum, he is delayed about 2-3 years emotionally. This is not his first death in the family, our fish, his great grandparents, but this is the first that is really REALLY hit.
He is sitting on the couch with me, sobbing. He has reverted to some behaviors that he as not done in a while. (He is currently using an autistic chew toy to handle stress. He's mad that he was not there when Henry passed. He is feeling guilty, angry, sad, the whole enchilada. I hate to see him sad.
Giving him extra hugs, conversation, and love.
I just now realized that today I cleaned up the cat areas, boxes and food. For William Change is VERY bad. I forget how even a little change can trip him up.
