Woah. I have a LOT of travel coming up, and it's making me a bit anxious. I'm worried about Pippin not remembering me, not have time to do laundry between trips, my house becoming even a bigger mess than it is now, not being able to get certain stuff done, and OF COURSE missing my husband. Here's the breakdown:
This weekend, Chris and I are off to New York. This is a fun trip to see friends and maybe a show or two. I'm really excited about this one...just wasn't expecting to come back Sunday and have to leave Monday for
Columbus, OH. A last minute training, added to my schedule yesterday. At first I was happy that at least I would be able to see my parents for dinner one night, but then I realized I would have to reschedule some appointments and that it would end up being a lot of continuous travel and I was less excited.
Fortunately, I get back Wednesday night. But Sunday it's off to Philadelphia for a week. Now fortunately Reina is in Philly, and I'll actually be staying at her house. So this will be about as awesome as a week away from home can get :)
Back from Philly on Friday, Sunday I'm off to Palm Desert, CA. Racking up the frequent flier miles here. That's probably the only good thing I have to say about this trip. Return on the red-eye Wednesday evening/Thursday morning, and Thursday morning Chris and I are off to
Dayton, OH. More personal travel at least. I wanted to see my parents, I just didn't realize at the time that it would involve a red-eye, a quick couple hours to repack and take Pippin to his boarding, and then another flight. But looking forward to a few days at home. And at least I'm with Chris!!!!
Get back on Sunday from this trip. And there is currently tentative plans for me to then head to Beach Haven, NJ on Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed that this falls through, because by this point I'm sure to be going crazy.
Fortunately I'm guaranteed to be in DC the last week of March. And April is totally up in the air at this point (but sadly not looking promising).
Otherwise things are pretty good, although definitely not exciting. I've been reading a lot to give you an idea of how thrilling my life is. If anyone is looking for a good book, I recently read The Night Circus and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yep. That's my life right now :)
