It's been a while since I had the discipline to separate out 'topics for public consumption' from everything else, but I wanted to make a 'state of the planning' entry anyway. actually, I've never taken the Meyers-Briggs nonsense, so i don't know. I could guess, but that would take effort. Why?

it's more just for a verification of my own type-ing skills. i recently took the test and was very surprised at how accurate it was (given the obvious limiting parameters that plague any online test); after having numerous friends take the test, i've started to think that it's pretty much one of the best online personality tests available. the breadth of resources available that detail certain characteristics and "pitfalls" of any given type make it a valuable resource for those wanting to see why they might act a certain way around certain people.

this is the test i use; it's free and only kind of long (72 questions). if you're into the whole online-test thing, i'd recommend it :).

(if you do choose to take it, i then recommend following it up by googling "Purdue XXXX," where XXXX is your type; it'll direct you to a .pdf provided by Purdue's psych department that offers a fairly lengthy introduction to your type and its characteristics)
