it's possible that should be d&d, where rogues, warriors, etc. get bonus modifiers for stealth, dexterity, or strength, and each race has a different base model/skillset they're inherently good at; i'm not actually sure WoW works like that, but i wouldn't be surprised.

Being a d&d geek for a moment, there's 'officially' supposed to be distrust-to-hatred of other races in the d&d universe. At least in older editions. In practice, it's included only to the extent that the DM wants to make the setting harder and finds that direction of difficulty interesting.

But that's probably more details than you care about.

he does! mostly i'm just curious as to why he bothers making the music into measures, when it's clearly just 'here, have a phrase. have another. and another.' plainchant doesn't bother with this nonsense. it doesn't help us in that there is no consistent downbeat to find, and it's not like someone's going to dance ot this. so why bother fitting your music into standard time signatures? you're edgy and post-modern, no one's going to look at you funny.

Well, it's useful for rehearsals, no? "Start at measure 17"...

"start at the second 'in excelsis'" works fine too. also "top of page 3".
