Part1
Fall 63: Jim played in his first organized basketball competition.

Fall63: A boy named Tony had a bottle of Carbona today, the finest huffing liquid in town.

Fall63: Jim and his friends were named the Diaper Bandits, the newspaper recognized there actions which were snatching hand bags, purses, and wallets.

Winter64: Jim does junk (heroine) for the first time, he gets sicker then he has ever been before. He promises this will not become an everyday thing, he thought heroine was the non-addictive stuff, and pot was addictive.

Winter64: Jim started a private school, and trips on acid, he drifts in and out of the park.

Winter64: Jim’s friend, who had been locked away, for being unstable, was out on the street corner today exposing him to the world with unimaginable amounts of drugs.

Winter64: Jim’s mom found a nickel bag of pot in his room, when he explained to her that pot wasn’t addictive heroin is, she understood, but she was upset when he asked for the nickel bag back.

Spring64: Jim talks about his sexual experiences in downtown New York; he is confused and sometimes doesn’t know what to think of the world he lives in.

Spring65: Jim mentions how he hasn’t written in awhile, he mentions the fact that he never intended to be a strung out junkie living his life on the streets, and then he nods in and out the diary fades badly.

Summer65: Jim awakes on his bed with a dry mouth, and crusty blood covering the marks on his arms, he mentions how he is tired of all of it and he hasn’t done junk in quite awhile, and he talks about everyone graduating and the hopes and dreams of everyone as if this day was somehow different then any other, he ends his last entry saying he just wants to be pure, then goes to the bathroom the throw it all up. “I just want to be pure again, I know longer want to be in a fetus position hoping I will score this day, or maybe the next I just want to be pure.”
