I have a headache
For those who don't already know, buying a house is a BIG pain... for the buyer and the seller. Our society has become so sue happy over everything that with any big financial undertaking, every company involved has to come up with more and more ways of covering their ass, not to mention the government requirements that are in place to make sure the companies also cover the buyer and sellers asses, which the companies in turn charge both parties for. w.t.f. So there are 150 different charges for forms and couriers and searches and examinations and surveys and such and seriously I could go on and on for 3 pages on types of forms alone. Once I finally came to terms with how much money I was about to spend LOW AND BEHOLD! Thats just for the mortgage and broker stuff. There is a whole nother ONE HUNDRED FUCKING FORMS AND FEES for title stuff, half of which is named the same thing as the stuff from the other side of it, but it pertains to something completely different. I've already read so much legal jargon over the past week that I'm going crosseyed. Now I get to start again! JOY! It'll be worth it when its all over... right?
