OMG I need this! (gone to Seven)

Alright, I was already thinking about getting a PSP but this clinched it. How could I not want to play this game:

In Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth you play (surprise!) a Valkyrie in the service of Odin who flies over Midgard with the power to sense dying heroes. The game revolves around choosing the slain and helping their spirits grow in strength to become Einherjar and join the Sacred War in Asgard as Ragnarok is coming soon. At the end of each of the 8 chapters you are taken into an audience with Freya who gives you information about the progress of the fighting and clues as to what the Allfather needs to make the war tip in favor of the Aesir and Vanir. There are multiple endings possible depending on your choices in-game, one which is only available when playing on the harder settings. Part of your dilemma in the game is the limited amount of time you have before Ragnarok begins, so you have to decide which fallen to attend, how to train them, when to send them vs. keep them to overcome challenges in Midgard "dungeons", and how closely to follow the hints and suggestions of Freya vs. taking your own initiative in choosing the slain.

Apparently this was a very popular but not widely released game for the PSX that has been ported this year for the PSP with a sequel on the way. At least one review touts it as the best RPG for the PSP to date. I'm certainly (perhaps obviously) more interested in it from the story angle than most of the others I've seen.

Asa-gaming! Yarr!

(Addendum: There are a few downsides, like Odin having both his eyes and the term Aesir being used for the collective gods in general while Vanir is used to refer to the enemies of the gods led by Surtr, as it turns out, but I'll still play it. :D)
