alright so im home from my last trip to the summer

and i went to atlanta. to see the pirates play. and they lost. a lot.

saturday we opened up the first inning with a 3 run blast compliments of a good canadian friend of mine named jason bay. but....mark redman made sure to blow it, starting off a 7 run massacre in the sixth that put the pirates out of it for good.

then sunday it was smoltz vs fogg and it was over from the start---the redmen got up 2 in the first, but a big rally put the pirates up 3-2...that lead held until the sixth, when grabow came in and gave up a solo shot to furcal on the first pitch he threw...it was all downhill from there.

i did however get to meet a few pirates, i took my picture with reliever ian snell and met jose castillo, and got his autograph, i also got dave williams to sign my hat...and i got him to throw me a ball on sunday which was pretty cool.

win or lose...or lose....or lose....or lose....or lose....i dont care if its a hopeless cause, i love the bucs.
