9th: The Consideration of Haruhi Suzumiya

[We all know what Sunday means, don't we? The girl decides to surprise Haruhi again by arriving early. After that week of being a Martian (and not eating or creating waste) Winry decides to arrive around eight in the morning. Why? Well she wants to cook breakfast. She's brought her own assortment of breakfast meats and a small loaf of bread for toast. -And also some orange juice. The blond uses her key to get in, and quietly calls out just in case anybody else is home.]

Haruhi?

[godbent]

[Oh no doubt Shiki and/or Neku are here somewhere unless they left or are still sleeping or something. Haruhi herself is actually up to make breakfast, but is making her announcement on the journal first. She is just finishing up the quip about the DVDs and- wow, Winry, you're up this early? She blinks in amazement. What?

Not that she's started anything, she's just standing in the kitchen with her journal on the counter in not-quite going out clothes but not quite pajamas.]

[Girl she planned this ahead the night before. The blond closes the door behind her and walks straight into the kitchen.]

Good morning.

[godbent]

Morn...ing? [Um. closing the journal and looking at her like she is seeing a phantom or something. Wow, she's awake]

Should I... not have come? [She's not intruding is she? Maybe she should have called first.]

[godbent]

Oh no! No. [She puts a smile on her face, shifting a little awkwardly]

I just never expect you awake this early.

[crytearsofjoy]

I slept in on purpose. See? [She holds up her bag of goodies.]

I wanted to make breakfast. I haven't eaten in a while. [It's the first time she's been hungry in a while.]

[godbent]

Oh, well... sure. [She blinks and then shrugs herself out of the way a little. Not that she's in the way to begin with, but it's a mental thing]

Go for it.

[She sets the stuff on the counter and looks around for a pan.]

Do you want to help?

[godbent]

[Oh. Well uh...]

If you're making it, you'd need to make it for four. Fortunately Neku doesn't eat much, but don't you want the help?

[If it's a matter of pride or something though, she'll not do it]

[She brought plenty of food, but wasn't expecting-] Sure, grab a pan. You can start on the bacon, I'll get the sausage done.

[godbent]

Yeah, I make breakfast most days for the house.

[Okay- going to get a pan and she'll set up. Bacon? Guess they're going Western today. She usually goes Japanese at least for breakfast except when she does stuff like pancakes]

[Got the pan, turn on the stove, and open the sausage to put it on the pan. She'll also hand the bacon over to Haruhi. And so she gets started.]

[Haruhi follows suit. Laying out the bacon ans getting it all set up]

So what are we making?

Sausage, bacon, eggs, and toast. [Nothing special, and there's plenty of meat to make an omelet if someone were to want that.]

I brought orange juice, too.

[godbent]

[Breakfast without miso... that feels so weird.] Huh, okay cool. [She'll be managing the bacon and such]
