I've decided to pick this thing back up for various reasons.
There is much to talk about, but for now I only want to listen. Emotions, like ethereal spirits, swirl in geometrically indefinable patterns around and through my mind. Pain, but still smiling. Freedom, but still crying. Yet, through all of this I continue to hold my head high, staring at the sun blazing like a flickering beckon, calling me... even after pushing so far away.
You are my sun, and I am your Icarus.
(Also, for those of you who don't know Japanese, I'll save you the trouble of looking up the words. To be honest, most translations don't do that song justice, so here is my rendition.)
