I love that song. Sweet Dream by Greg Laswell. I first heard it on Dollhouse, which is a really good show, like one that I cannot get out of my head, ahha. Such an interesting and intriguing concept. That people can think this up, I mean, it's scary. Who's to say it won't happen in the future? We seem to get closer and closer to the kind of technology portrayed in the show.
I love watching all these shows on DVD too. The best way to watch them. No commercials and you can watch as many episodes in a row or as few in a row as you like.
The only problem is I can't catch up to the show until after the DVDs are released, but there's plenty of shows for me to watch in the meantime, haha.
All the best ones get cancelled though, it's so dumb. Like Pushing Daisies. THAT WAS A FANTASTIC show. Why was it not picked up for at least 2 more seasons? I could have used more beautiful sets and pretty lighting and fast, snappy talking to illuminate my life.
And what else? Oh that one Carnivale show...only on for two seasons I think, but it was a great show and there's so much more that could have been done with it.
American Dreams, another good one.
I mean really, do we need more reality tv and stupid empty plot lines or do we want good shows with intelligence and thought behind them? Like Judd Apatow's shows are good but get cancelled? WHY??? I mean, I love Judd Apatow so I am a bit biased when it comes to his stuff. But seriously, the best shows get cancelled...like do we need another crime drama show? Really? I love Law and Order:CI and SVU, but I really loved only until I started exploring the world of tv shows and found out what was out there. I still love the crime drama, but there's so many different shows to fall in lvoe with, why won't networks give the people a chance?
And all I can say is thank god for netflix.
