Well, Life is a Highway

Last night I decided to take a drive. I wanted to go to this place called Book Tree that I'd heard about and with my Garmin Navigation System, I feel invinvible, so I unput the directions and took off.

So the Book Tree is out in this town called Monaca, which I had no clue where the town even is. It was kind of sad to drive there because it looked so homey...like my lovely Harvard on the Mon area but it was fun to go somewhere new.

I managed to find it with only a little trouble. Garmin was pretty good and I was pretty good listening to it, haha.

It's a cool bookstore because it looks like it could have been a pub or a B&B back in the 17th century. It's just an old house filled with books and there's room to squeeze by to get to the sections, but it's very claustrophobic and bookish. I was so excited.

And I bought a whole bunch of books. I don't need any, I am reading three right now, but I just love to buy books. Haha. I will definitely be back. Eventually, my house is going to look like that old house.

Then I got home, only making a wrong turn once...yay. All in all it didn't take me that long to get out there or to get home and I like that place better because it's more personal rather than industrial. You know what I mean?

When I got home I watched Love Actually...which I didn't realize was very British and very sappy. I mean, I liked it and thought it had some great characters, the little kid was my favorite, but yes it was very over the top filled with love and broken hearts and some mush. I love all the actors in it. And it's so fun to see British actors get to actually be themselves in their movies. Wheh they act in American movies, they conform more to our standards and we're pretty blah. Europe is much more cutting edge and tough and informal yet formal and kick ass. And in your face. I guess because it seems like they are less hypocritcal than Americans? I dunno. We'll have to see where we are in 50 years. Maybe we'll be more like England.

Also, I am in so mcuh pain right now. I slept in a terrible position and my neck and shoulders and back hurt really badly.
