He doesn't understand the concept of a family or of blood ties. As his birth parents were incredibly bad examples of parenting in general, he doesn't really give a fig about this concept of parents loving their children or children loving their parents. What he does understand the kind of love that one associates with desire. He is loved because he is desired and it isn't too difficult to reconcile that. He has a fondness for Persephone for she raised him, but he knows that she, too, only desired him, which isn't bad, but it doesn't make her special.
Adonis can be affectionate and he, in his own opinion at least, is an excellent lover. He will allow you your way but his attentions are fickle and so is his heart. He cannot be captured for long and he will soon pass off to the next interesting thing. Unless, of course, you can offer him something that keeps him interested. It's all about keeping his attention and, thus, his favor. And one most certainly wants to be in his favor because he gives as well as he takes.

Abercronnie & Fetch should be releasing their new line in a month. Why haven't I received a call from them yet? I can't believe they wouldn't ask me to model for them. This is an insult. Well, unless, my agent has decided that I shouldn't model for them. I wouldn't know why, but she hasn't steered me wrong yet.
I can't believe they wouldn't at least ask, though.
Classes are boring, as usual. Plants need sun and water and love to grow. That's it. I don't see why we have to learn photosynthesis and chlorophyll and gods know what else. Not that it is necessarily boring. It's even interesting. I just don't see why they need to make such a big deal out of it.
I can't believe they haven't called.

A redheaded woman burst into tears beside him. Adonis turned to look at her as she sobbed into a napkin. Her friend was patting her shoulder frantically, confusion etched onto her face. The redhead continued to weep noisily as Adonis made his way to the end of the line.
"Excuse me, I'm late for a photo shoot, do you mind if I cut in?" he asked no one in particular. The entire line took a step backwards. He flashed them all the kind smile before slipping into the front of the line. He placed an order for a "Venti Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte, nonfat milk and no cinnamon" and moved to the side to await his order. He looked down the room and the redhead had begun to calm down.
Someone called his name and he walked over to the counter to pick his order up, smiling warmly at the barista. He took his drink and started for the door. As he passed the redhead, she burst into sudden tears again. Adonis sighed and turned, patting her shoulder gently. "He doesn't deserve you if he makes you cry like this," he said seriously.
She just stared at him. He gave her the benefit of a smile before he waltzed out of the coffee shop.
