[Haruki hasn't been the only one hiding. Keiichi too, or rather, he has been avoiding some people. Haruki mainly. It helped that the other was hidding as that way Keiichi could almost relax.

He was in the middle of his usual training routine when he heard the scream. Honestly he didn't even know who had screamed, just felt his sixth sense tingle and ran there as fast as he could. Only to stop dead in his tracks at the sight.]

[He doesn't close his eyes. How is he going to close his eyes? Haruki is still trapped there! He can't close his eyes! What if he closes them and something happens and he loses Haruki forever? What if the culprit is still around and attacks him when he closes his eyes? Why does Minato want him to close his eyes anyway? It's suspicious, too suspicious. He sounds like he's giving out orders, why is he giving out orders? Why does he say he's going to get Haruki out? What does he know that Keiichi doesn't? Is there some sort of big secret? Did Minato know this had happened?

All the conspiracy theories in his head shatter in a second, though. Just as soon as he sees Minato pull out a gun and press it into his temple.

That... That definitively isn't a way to get anyone out of anything.

But no. It's glass. Glass shattering, he heard it. A window broke somewhere. He will have to call to have it fixed- but there aren't windows here. A mirror maybe?

But he's standing right there. And there's a giant with a sword of fire melting the ice.

But he shot himself. He shot. He heard the bang. It was like crystal breaking. No, it was a gunshot, a normal one.

[And as the ice melts Haruki... falls. He falls to his feet, staggering a little. His mind is a total blank of fear and terror and such but... he sees Keiichi. He sees Keiichi itching at his throat and it reminds him of Rena - it reminds him of the horrible time he- or second most horrible, rather - that that ever happened to him in Luceti. And he doesn't want a repeat. Now now. He's scared shitless and he's not quite sure how he manages it but panting for breath and with his vision blurring he marches the five steps it takes to get right in front of Keiichi...

And punches him as hard as he can in the face.

...Of course that takes all the strength Haruki has so he collapses immediately thereafter onto the ground]
