[Sekai currently looks like this as a reference for housemates or anyone visiting the house lately and this head has a little mini-crest like this. Just for the record. So it's getting bigger and it starts to look like a boy more; it's a good thing the breed he happens to be isn't fully grown at five weeks like some of them can be.

[Buffy has come a-knocking at your door, oblivious to the renovations occurring inside but curious as to why there's been a furniture dump outside.

Not that this was the reason she arrived. Oh, no. More accurately, she wanted to come by and check up on the young girl--Rena, was it?--after their conversation during the portal incident. Maybe catch a glimpse at some of the other live-ins at house number ten, too.

[Well aren't you lucky! Rena was just heading downstairs in order to contribute more to the furniture dump outside when she hears the knocking. She sets the chair she was holding down by the door and pulls it open.]

Oh hello, Buffy-chan! Are you here to see someone?

[Why, yes she is. But she plays it cool because she doesn't want to come off as too nosy.]

Just...in the neighbourhood. And thought I'd ask about all this furniture dumpage?

Right. And that would make Sekai-chan--[she mimics Rena's name for him, not quite knowing any better]--a chicken, I guess?

Yeah! Haruki-kun's egg from school hatched, so we have a chicken now!

[And Rena's sort of adopted him as her own. But shhhh.]

He's getting really big, so he thought it would be good to give him a room.

Sounds like a major job. Do you guys need a hand? 'Cause these ones are pretty capable. [She holds hers out, waggling her fingers.]

[Buffy kicks snow off her boots outside before stepping in. But she's so glad to step in, when she does.]

[Rena would fuss over her and make her tea or something, but she still has that chair to move. So after Buffy comes inside, she picks up the chair again and runs outside with it to add it to the growing furniture pile.

For such a tiny thing, manual labor doesn't seem to cause her any sort of strain.]

[And that doesn't slip from Buffy's attention. But, again, she tries to approach the matter delicately once Rena returns inside.] Want a hand with those? They look like they could be a little on the heavy side.
