...You know, there's a lot of shooting stars tonight. I should make a wish or something. It's less sure-fire than Tanabat but at least it won't take sixteen years. ...Jeez. Sixteen years is a long time.

You guys ever think the sky here is fake? Or is a real?

Why would the sky be fake?

There's a barrier around the entire village, didn't you hear? One them they even blocked out the sun and stars with it. It could be this is all just some hologram or something.

Guess it's no stranger than the rest of this place.

Seems kind of pointless, though. It's just the sky.

How is that pointless? If they want to make it look like it's open it makes sense.

But we know we're trapped; what's the point in hiding it?

Otherwise we'd be looking at some bit plastic or metal or whatever thing, and we'd have son sun. We'd all die.

But what good would a projected sun do? It'd be fake.

You missing that we're inside a bubble, idiot. It would need a projected sun for us to have light at all.

Or it could just be transparent. Besides, a projection wouldn't be the same as a real sun.

If they had a lot of heat lamps and lights, it could be.

But do you really think they'd spend so much time making a realistic sky?

god_is_a_dude June 7 2009, 04:53:26 UTC
If they don't want us to see this world's real sky, why not?

stilldontgotit June 7 2009, 04:54:42 UTC
Sure, but it's not like the sky's simple. Besides, what's there to hide?

That's the big question, ainnit?

Reply

It's the sky. Not like there'd be much up there besides stars.

On any normal planet, yeah.
