weird dream
i am on a dock with no clothes on but no one seems to notice. i am about to go fishing with my grandfather like i used to when i went to VA all the time. his boat come flying around the outside of the dock and i hurry to put my bathing suit on. its already wet. i grab my hat and there are matches inside of it. everyone who is already on the boat is yelling to hurry up and get on. my cousin ed and i are running down the dock. he jumps in the water. i am trying to get my bathing suit on and worrying about getting the matches wet but i turn a corner and jump in the water over there. my hat gets wet and i let go of it. the boat comes to me first even though i wasn't the first in the water and someone helps pull me up. as im getting pulled onto the boat i say, "hurry up and help me up, i feel like a nobody." i am now on the boat and we are going fast into the open water. i take off my shirt (which i didn't even have on when i jumped in the water) and ring it out over the side. i look for sunscreen because i don't want to get burned and i find some but don't put any on. now that I'm on the boat i look for a pole. the boat is much bigger than i remember. i open up a hatch in the back and i see my uncle and someone else, working on the engine. we've stopped by the time i realize. there is a bilge in the back that is full and i pull the plug to empty it but cant get the plug back in. they are busy and my cousin is sleeping in an armchair. then i am looking for a fishing pole to start because i want to be first to catch something but i cant find a hook. i walk through the small hatch like before but now im in a bait and tackle store. my grandfather is apparently the proprietor but no one is around and the front door is wide open. i am worried about that for some reason. an Asian man walks in with a briefcase and i can tell hes looking for someone. i think to myself that my grandfather is out on his boat. before i can say no one is here, he walks out. then i wake up.
