I'm sleepy..
It's been a long day today. I had school and today's band clinicians were the Cadets' staff. It was crazy, but we got ALOT done! Anyway, I'm sending off my Part 1 of my Rice application tomorrow....and I've gotta fill out the Texas Common App. too. Wish me luck in getting out of the valley *cough*I mean......getting into a good college for a good education.... :)
Anyway, I miss all you '04 people...Sandi, Alma, Melissa....Call me tell and tell me you guys are alive. I know Sandi is because we've been playing phone tag for a while now. LOL, too funny. I dunno...lately I've felt distant from everyone, like I don't belong or something. I don't know...I just don't like the way it feels....I really do feel like an outcast, but I don't know why. O'well. I'm unique I guess...
On a lighter note, we got 1st place and Grand Champions on Saturday at the USSBA South TX Invitational. It was so much fun; our goal was to break 90 and we did (just barely! 90.15!) This week should be very interesting because on Saturday not only do I have SAT's, but we (the band) have BOA La Joya; Churchill is going as well. There is only two non-valley bands there (the other is Taft) We'll see how it goes...I hope we surprise ourselves! :)
