It rains often enough here, but for some reason today was especially cold. Even so, my sister sent me out on an errand to get food for dinner. Ugh.
Which brings me to now... walking through the cold rain on my way to the train station, since someone had a 'special request' for their meal.
Just a typical Sunday, doing the typical grunt work for the sister, going through my typical pace of things.
Luckily, that also includes the typical stop at Minami instruments. I guess I'm pretty lucky to have that shop (and that old man too, I guess) as a refuge. Although, ever since the concours happened that place got a lot more visitors than usual. Not to mention that one time not only Hihara-sempai stops by, but Tsukimori of all people...
Perhaps after I finish a few pieces on the piano here, I'll pick up some snack food at a convenience store or burger joint before picking up groceries.
For now though, what could be more fitting to play on a day like today? As a way to drown myself in the outside sounds of nature rather than the people and thoughts bustling around...
...Chopin's "Raindrop" prelude.
