(no subject)

I just saw the best thing on Foreign Correspondent just then.

A Germain engineer in Bougainville, PNG, has developed a fuel for diesel engines that is environmentally friendly, cheap, and it smells really, really nice.

Coconut oil.

That's right, the residents of Bougainville (French for 'Boganville'?) are putting coconut oil in their trucks instead of diesel fuel!! Am I the only one who thinks that this wins the Nifty Award of the Year?? I want to put coconut oil in MY car!! (Albeit it's not a diesel engine, but I don't care! I'm sure it'll run fine.....)

Onto other news, my study is going swimmingly, I think... I'm certainly trying harder this year, considering I have no easy Justice subjects left to fall back onto, on account that I have, uh, finished my Justice degree.....and certainly considering that you'd think my 'motivation tank' has run dry after my 4 and a half years of study.

Maybe I should put coconut oil in it.
