So I yelled at Super A Mart today. I paid two grand for a corner suite back in December '06 and it still has not arrived yet. I've heard many excuses over the past few months to explain its delay; the suite was coming from overseas, the original supplier sold out to another supplier, etc etc... but two weeks ago today I was advised that my couch would be ready to be delivered by 16/3 at the latest.

... well, today is 16/3 and lo and behold my couch still was not at Super A Mart. So, I got shitty. I am usually do not get cranky with people over the phone but today I did. I ended up being assured by the store manager that he will personally make sure the couch is delivered to Super A Mart by the suppliers on Monday, and he gave me free delivery (after I haggled for it! He should have just given it to me).

I had to make cheesecake for my team at work today. Well, I made the cheesecake last night. It was a hit, to my delight. It was my first attempt at a baked cheesecake, and albeit the biscuit could have been more moist, it was pretty good. However taking a cheesecake into a firm like mine is like throwing a piece of meat into a pit of starving hyenas. It was just supposed to be for my team, because every fortnight someone from my team bakes something for the team to share the next day. Anyway, Olly's friend Kavita was offered a piece because she's Olly's friend and there was enough for her as well. She then emailed just about the entire female population of TML declaring she is in possession of cheesecake, thus compelling me to run to the kitchen to confiscate the rest of my cake before the screaming hordes of young women stampeded to claim their piece of cake. I  was a bit cranky with Kavita because she didn't ask if it was ok if other people could eat it. It was just supposed to be for my team and I wanted to take the rest home for Joseph and myself.

And they all proclaim to be on a diet!! Women are so retarded.

Nana, mum and myself are going to Spotlight tomorrow morning, to buy a hall rug for me! God I've turned into such a grandma. Love living near the Logan Rd homemaker centre though.
