So yea, with the impending doom of college apps, the siemens westinghouse comp., SAT2s, and school, I still managed to find time to spend 7 hours in DC on Saturday! As some of you know there was this big anti-war protest and they also had this big concert so i went ot da concert w/ Jenny and Marisa (Sarah and Lauren were supposed to come too, but couldnt) :(
So the whole concert was free and hosted by Jello Biafra, who as you may not know, was the lead singer of The Dead Kennedys, then went solo and made a really awesome album with DOA called "Last Scream of the Missing Neighbor" you should go buy/download it now! It was kinda crappy cuz theyd have like 2 bands play then a speaker would come on abnd whine us to death for 45 minutes! (VERY REPETiTIVE MESSAGE)
So in one of these speeches me jenny and marisa decided we were hungry, so we wondered all over Federal Triangle, without any luck, both the reagan and postal buildings were closed, so we ended up eating at B&N. When we got back, we stacked out our plot and lyed down. We were pretty much only waiting for 2 bands an hour later, so lying on the grass turned into a few "tickle" fights and "poke" attacks and ass-pad stealing that became dangerously close to being SEXUAL. LOL
Then later at lik 9 Bjorn showed up and we listened to Head Roc, Ted leo and The Pharmacists and Thievery Corporation, and made fun of the chessy effects on the jumbotron and attempted to decipher wat the lead singer was saying...in French...
We left at about 12 and left Marisa to fend for herself on the street corner! :P
