The goblin queen resurfaces...

I've been hiding in the mud and dirt, overwhelmed with a new home and a new school and a new life. A lot of it has been good, actually. It's just a matter of organizing my time and my goals, and I lost sight of my personal writing for a little bit, became a wee discouraged with it and mostly just forgetful and otherwise occupied, but here I am again.

I may start posting about academic things here too, as that takes up a lot of my time and passion, but I really want to make room for my writing again as well, make it fit into my life. My goal for the new year: WRITE EVERY DAY. I even stuck the words on my computer with label maker stickers :)

A quote for the new year, to inspire me and you and you and you and you, from this guy I really like:

"...I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind."
-ganked from Neil Gaiman's blog

Good advice. Here's to dreaming dangerously and outrageously!
