Still lurking but not blogging
Just a quick update - baby #2 was due last thursday however he/she is showing the same reluctance to come as #1. Clare was hospitalised for 2 days last thursday with a fever of 39.8 Deg C and was only let home when here temperature stabilised.
The baby is fine however Clare is quite weak at the moment. They've scheduled an induction for Wednesday morning but hopefully things get under way before that.
My own news is a little less hectic. I'm coming off the back of my busiest ever work period where I was working at one point for 12 days straight and for 19 of 20 days but the project is now over so I'm back to normal. I was lucky to have 3 days in leu (sp?) built up over that period so I didn't have to take holidays to look after Clare.
Once the baby arrives I think I'll have even less time but still really looking forward to it.
On a side note, our son seems to have a bit of a nasty streak to him. Last week was the first time his Mom had spent a night away from him (ever) when she was in hospital. Since she's come home he's more or less blanked her - refusing to give her a hug or to let her do things for him. Clare understandably gutted, however he does seem to be getting over it. I'm guessing he was feeling a bit hurt over his mother's disapearance (he's used to me being away with work etc) but none of us were expecting this reaction.
