our mommy has a 2 mega pixel one she likes OK, it is an easy share Kodak. She doesn't like the software much. The pics are pretty good but not great.
hmmmm what to get? Would not recommend Kodak easy share (though some of the newer ones may be better than ours) Probably would not recommend getting an HP or anything like that either.
She has her eye on a canon, but those are kinda pricey.
Mommy suggests doing a search online with specific brands/cameras. Sometimes you can find ratings and reviews (not just regular consumer ones, but people who do reviews for a living) and see what suits her needs best. Each camera is a bit different, even though they all pretty much work the same. Go to best buy or circuit city and look at them and play with them. Sometimes they may even have samples of pictures taken from different cameras. Sometimes the people there are helpful, but most of the time they don't really know a whole lot than what is obvious already...
check prices online, most stores will drop a price if there is a lower one available online ;) Happy hunting!
