had a pleasantly uneventful day today. it's funny how on days like today, when i haven't really got anything to get done, i get this sense of purpose. As if i could tackle anything. the day is emptied of meaningless termpapers and assignments, and i can finally occupy my mind with reading books i want to, listen to the music i love and think

Ipshi! i LOVEEEEEEEEE your plan for the summer --- there's nothing quite like reading a big fat juicy book during the summer afternoons,ektu shaded area tey boshey! aaah! as for me, now that I am thoroughly distracted with the idea that apparently other people are going to relax this summer, I'm more discouraged than ever that I have to work on my stupid thesis, which is going nowhere at the moment. Other than that, my plans for the summer are all rite - i wake up, procrastinate, walk downtown, sit in some cafe, read a bit, then go to one of the many boookstores here (one of the few good things in Halifax!), and browse books again (I've bought so many overpriced books now that the people don't bug me with "may i help u? may i recommend books that u will never want to read because our tastes are not similar?" types of questions!

sim! halifax sounds lovely, i SO want to visit you but it looks like august might be a bit of an impossibility :|
