UNI :(
i decided to stay in till 3.30pm today because i reallyyy need to get started on my personal statement for overseas uni application.
but its such a bore...i cant get started. ive been procrastinating for months now :(
maybe its just a reluctance to GROW UP.
first day on the job yesterday. we (alpha and i) basically spent most of it shopping at kino and borders for lit texts. xmas shopping and dunkin' donuts while we were at it. haha we cant believe our luck: getting paid to do this. working hours/days are totally flexible, we can still hang out friends i only work once or twice a week.
but i've got lots of readings/research to do, lots of new things to learn. cant believe i have to flex my brain muscles this soon :( but the boss said we have to be "intellectually curious, or else we have no use for you" exact words. my teacher is really blunt and intimidating, but nonetheless i respect her, she's a literary genius afterall.
back to the main point about uni, helppp i dont wanna grow up. can we stay like this post-As vacation mode forever...
