a summer of ska bands sobriety and school

so far this summer has been the most eventful and uneventful summer i have ever had. The ska band was a ton of fun notice the pretense of was you will figure out what happend later on in the story but nix86 was a ton of fun musically for my self it was very difficult perhaps this was my mistake by one picking seven amazing musicians to start a band with and two not realizing ska music may be one of the most difficult genres to play after months of very frustrating playing but at the same time growning ten fold as a guitar player i left nix86 tonight to start a new band with lee kessler dave friedrich and dave ringel and hopefully my good friend joe lazara and i am finally starting a hot water music latterman style band that i have always wanted to be in and although the ska band that i created and i will still always go on record as starting that band i am now leaving to begin a new band and i am not upset i am not bummed i am very excited.

in other news i mean this title is ska bands sobriety and school. this summer most of which was spent behind desks learning this summer only really began about less then a week ago i have also not had a drop of alchol in a month and yes i miss it but i dont at the same time i dont miss the not having money the not remembering last night the head aches i do miss the nice beer with dinner for example last night at beerys met a nice girl named erica who played trumpet in bomb the music industry all tour and after a nice night of music talks and laughs she offered to buy me a beer sadly i had to decline and i had to make up some dumb excuse to why i am not drinking tomorrow i am seeing bomb for the first time i think ever sober i am going to be confused
