Is this creepy?
Craigslist is a very interesting place. What follows is an ad put in the Bellingham "strictly platonic" Craigslist advertisements. I found it to be quite hilarious:
I just moved to Bellingham for school and although I've only been here roughly two days, I'm bored. I think it'd be rad to meet people who are not jerks and have similar interests that I do. I've decided to compose a survey that you can do (even just for fun, if you want) so I can get a better feel for what kind of person you are.
But first, a little about me. I'm the kind of person who gives out fake names at fast food restaurants when they take your order, not because I'm paranoid, I just like to try out what a new name would feel like. Pregnant women intimidate me; I've worked in food services and have only had terrible experiences with them. I'm sure they're nice people, but their hormones get the best of them. I really enjoy adventuring and exploring, because there is always something to find. Dinosaurs are awesome, so are video games. Tea is another really great thing. Music if of course, a really great thing. Also, I voted Obama. Also, Arrested Development is one of my favourite shows.
Now for the survey!
1) If you were trapped in a room but got to choose two other people (preferably celebrities/famous figures) who would they be?
1.b) Ok, now one of those two people go crazy from cabin fever. Which person of the two you chose went bat-shit?
2) Sweet, you found a time machine. Which time period/era do you choose to visit? Any reason Why?
3) Do you offer to help old people cross the street? If 'yes', refer to 3.b. If 'no', refer to 3.c.
3.b) Do they really accept your help?
3.c) I don't either. I figure, if they've lived that long, they can fend for themselves.
4) It's the apocalypse and zombies are running loose. Describe your escape/attack/survival plan. (But...make it short and sweet.)
5) Name at least one guilty pleasure musician/band. We all have one. (I won't judge.)
Lastly, you must draw a self-portrait of yourself in Microsoft paint. There are no creative boundaries on this, but please don't be gross. I think asking for a real picture is a little awkward, but asking for a self-portrait sounds awesome.
