Remember when I mentioned that the house next door burned down? They're finally tearing it down this week, as well as the one right next to it. The same week that the house next door burned down, they also tore down the house at the end of the block. Kord was out of town for that, he was out of town when our old house got torn down, and he's out of town again for this. It seems every time Kord leaves town, the neighborhood gets smaller. I think folks who are interested in preserving the neighborhood ought to make a concerted effort to keep him in town. I'm not saying that I approve of the shrinking neighborhood, or that I don't enjoy Kord's company, but I do plan on having a great time home alone for a month while he's out and about in the world.
Know what else? I'm done with nursing school, in the best possible way (that being graduation). I am scheduled to take the licensing exam July 9th, and then I'll be an RN (assuming I pass the exam, which I'm assuming I will).
Also, whole lot of friends having babies in the recent past and not too distant future. It seems shocking, but I suppose I'm just at that age where my cohorts spawn. I don't even have negative feelings towards babies anymore, but still, none for me, thanks!
Aiiight, I guess I better go move some cars from the driveway now before they get house all over 'em.
