EXCITEMENT!!!
I ordered my new trumpet today, a Wild Thing Trumpet, from Flip Oakes. This is the trumpet I've been oggling for months now. I'm supposed to get it later this week, I'm sooooooooooooo friggin excited. I really think it's going to have a big effect on my playing, I won't be fighting with the fact that my trumpet is like some kind of tin can anymore.
Also, I got a really good deal on it. It was a used instrument, but it's still in perfect condition, and completely cleaned and all that stuff by it's original designer. Pretty much the only thing different from a new one is the price tag, a good %30 different there.
Alrighty, that's my big news for today. Tomorrow will be all about school stuff...getting parking permits...finding my locker...playing with the jazz band...all that fun...stuff....
