My Asian Adventure, Day 2/3
Let's see... it's 09:21 on december 10.
I slept from yesterday 1pm till 5:56 am today and was told the deposit of 110 euros (6000+ pesos). had not arrived yet... and that I should have paid 3€ instead of 7 for the taxi ride... The taxi ride was long enough for me to pay 7 euros.
I am running ahead though...
I still need to tell you about the money exchange. As soon as I had struggled through the airport rigmarole, I was greeted by exchange booths.
There were about 5 of them, manned by a teller and a ''puller" each. The exchange rate was 55 pesos to the euro. I changed 150 euros.
Going onward, I was greeted by a taxi stand. there I was told the trip would cost php395. I paid 400.
For the record: I have paid 7440 pesos for the room so far. the agreed total was 12425.
Now I go find a mall to buy t-shirts, shampoo and shower gel, as well as a phone.
