A Little Culture Shock
Today I got to do something else besides translate! (I still am translating today too tho...)
A group of like 25 high school students came on the "Ambassador Program" (I have no clue what that is but it's kids from Kentucky and Indiana).
The first thing I couldn't help but notice was that probably about half of these kids were really overweight, like really.I haven't seen a scene like this for a really long time so I was really surprised...I wonder what the museum people thought? These are 14-15 yr olds!
Anyway, they did some mock inking and I think they enjoyed it. Today was their last day in Japan and that made me feel weird...(Christine is leaving on Sunday and I don't even want to count how many weeks I have left...D: )
On Thursday some group of students from a college in Boston is coming. I am going to help out but I think that if they study Japanese they might be able to figure out what's going on (but who knows).
