I want to be like Jeff Mangum or Tom Gable, yet for all my sincerity and wit, I'll never be able to do it. I could face a world of suffering, confusion, anger, fear, joy, jubilation, and all the purest of emotions, but I'd never be able to externalize that in the form of a song. That takes a special kind of brilliance.
