This past weekend was probably the best one in the record books. There was nothing (too) overly exciting that happened in the long run, but it was just amazing and wonderful and perfect in so many ways. Friday night Jim came over and we didn't do too much. We watched Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle, which was quite funny. After that Jim played on my computer while I turned on Sex and the City and we just cuddled and chatted. It was so relaxing to be able to keep my ritual and still be with him. You know you're comfortable around someone when they'll sit through a half hour of a chick show and not even sigh. Granted, we did watch 24 season 3 until we both passed out. I like to even things out.
Saturday morning we woke up quite early and went to Robison's horse show and I finally got to see her ride. She was really quite good. I took a billion pictures and i think two came out well since the lighting was so horrible in the indoor ring. Afterwards jim and I went to Denny's for some starch and protein. He even got hit on by the 60 year old waitress. Yeah, I almost had to throw down. Luckily she backed off after I claimed my territory. Then we went to Wal-Mart and the mall and shopped like woah. I took him to every store that sold electronics looking for this game he really wanted, but we didn't have any luck. I was going to buy it for him for the Valentine's Day, but he ended up breaking down and bought it on ebay yesterday :-(. Since the day was so gorgeous (like 60 degrees) I decided that we should do some outdoor activity until sunset. I'm just so sick of living in this room all the time. Jokingly I mentioned climbing Mt. Holyoke and having a psudo-picnic, but he didn't think it was too bad of an idea. So we got Subway and drinks and batteries for my camera and headed up the mountain. I realized that I am totally out of shape, but other than my pulse and my heart trying to beat out of my chest, my back did really well. It was windy as all hell up there, but deserted and we got some really great pictures of us. It's strange when I see a picture of me I like, but that boy just makes me so darn happy it's hard to take a bad picture. And since there was no one else on the mountain, we had a little fun in a secluded spot if you know what I mean (heh heh). Yeah, never done that before. But it was wonderful.
Sunday was also really chill. We finally finished season 3 of 24 (now that season 5 has begun), and just cuddled for most of the day. I went out to see what books I needed for the semester. I just bought three courses worth of books on Amazon for $60, with a $30 book left to buy at the school store and three books for my independent course. Hopefully I could just get those out of the library, though.
this week is my last full time week at Mark's Meadow. Well, almost. Monday we had a snowday and there may even be one tomorrow, but I can only cross my fingers. I'm actually going to miss my productivity now that I'm used to waking up early and working all day. I'm even considering working two mornings and one afternoon a week at work so that I can have a three day weekend. Any thoughts on the matter? Classes start on Monday and i can't wait to get this college experience done with. Now I just gotta find a job and a place to live. And a kitty. Good thing I've already got a guy ;-)
Oh, and Jim is wonderful and amazing. I fall more and more in love with him every time i see him. I don't know how he does it. But, enough of that lovey-dovey crap.
