All-nighter: Chicago Style
I just finished watching LOTR: ROTK. that brought back a lot of fond memories. Sara, thank you so much for going to see that in Theatres with me before youy saw it with your cousin. It means so much to me.
I've been thinking a lot lately, and I've realized that I am really a selfish person, and I'm sorry to anyone who I've hurt.
I hope that you all have had a very good Thanksgiving. I went to Chicago, and it was really fun. We drove down there on wednesday night, but he snow was so bad that they closed down the freeway so we had to spend the night near Kalamazoo. The snow was so deep, that my dad was driving and he couldn't see a curb, and we went right over it. It was very very scary. So we ended up getting to my uncle's house around 9:00am Thanksgiving morning. We spent all day cooking and baking and stuff. Nicole slept all through the day because she wasn't feeling well, so I didn't see her at all that day. Then on Friday, we decided to hit up 900 North Michigan Avenue. my brother was the one who really wanted to go there, and he ended up buying a coat. My Uncle took me to look at prom dresses in Bloomingdales, and then Jessica McClintock. He decided that when it was time to shop for prom dresses for real, I can come with him and he'll buy one for me. As we walked passed Coach he decided that he'd get me a coach bag to go with the dress. After that we went to NAvy Pier, but it really wasn't that fun. so we came home. I didn't get to see Nicole that day either cuz she was at the circus with her friends.
On Saturday (yesterday) however, the fun began. Around 1:00 we all went to the art museum, and Nicole and I told everyone that if we get separated, we'd meet at 5:00, and then Nicole and I "accidently" got separated, so we went downtownand we went into this really really really really fancy hotel, and we felt very out of place there, but we had to use the internet, and this was our only choice.then we went and bought ice cream, and on our way back to the museum, we met this woman who was either a very good con artist addicted to crack, or a small town girl lossed in a big city. We gave her some money, then went on our way and watched these little boys play ice buckets as drums. They were sooooo good. I've never seen a drumline as good as them. Ever. so we gave them money too, and then we met up with our family. My uncle couldn't be with us though, cuz he works for sears, and the Sears in Hawaii had a huge computer malfunction, and he was on the phone dealing with that. So we came home and had some more left overs for dinner, and then Nicole and I convinced my mom to let me spend the night. So I did, and Nicole had to run an errand first, so I watched the end of Love Actually and the beginning of POTC. when she came back, she brought me a cd that she had burned for me. we spent about the next hour getting readdy to go out, and it was great. I wore a retro style dress that was polka dot and striped tights and knee high lace up army-ish boots, with a Zebra print sweater and a tiger print purse. She wore a raggedy Ann outfit. It was great fun. so then we ere going to go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but they all started around 10:00, and it was already 10:30. So we went to a couple of bars, but most of them wouldn't let me in without ID. so we stalked a guywho looked like Macaulay Culkin, but it turned out not to be him, so then we went to Nicole's friends house, and they were all in a semi-famous band. we watched Pee-Wee's playhouse and had a bottle of some really expensive beer, called Peach La-something. I forget the name. oh well. It was yummy. Then Rich, one of the guys there decided to teach me all about this crazy cult thigie, but I could not understand it...either I was too tired, or had a little too much beer, either way...lol. It was this Subgenious thing, and theis Bob Dobbs thing, too. It was funny. I guess I understood it a little. but it was still weird. ok, so then at 3:00 am, Nicole and I decided to go bowling, but her friends didn't want to, so we went out by ourselves and we found a 24 hour bowling alley. It was morer fun, but I think I pulled a muscle in my fingers from not warming up first. lol, j/k. Then we headed back home, and it was 5:00, and my parents were coming at 6:00. So we just watched old school, and inside the actors studio with Jude Law, and something else that I can't remember. fun times. My cousin is moving to England soon with her famous boyfriend. She wants me to come visit them, and I will. It'll be fun.
