New Dog, Old Allergies...
So this weekend we have added a new member to our family. Friday we adopted a 1 year old, female beagle. We named her Daisy, there is a picture of her with J on her LJ. Once we get all the pics uploaded I will post it here.
She is a great dog already. In just the fours days we have had her, she already knows how to Sit, somewhat Fetch, She knows that the leash means walk time. Plus she is in love with Didimous. If he goes somewhere she has to follow. She also understood what a crate is and is almost 100% crate trained. Last night she made it through the entire night without crying.
Didimous likes her as well. He has established his boundaries and she is very good at responding when he says no. They have even reached play status, by Sunday they were rolling around on the floor together.
She is a yell-er, her bark can raise the dead. But we got her a humane no-bark collar and after just two times of testing it out, I think she has figured out when the collar is on that means no barking.
Then to top off the Weekend both J and I ended up with Sinus Infections. So yesterday consisted of us making sure the dogs were tended to and the rest of the time was spent sleeping or blowing our noses. How Romantic!
