It's funny, We were on our way to the park with our then tiny Shit-Zui who was no bigger then my hand. Jen wanted to stop at the store for drinks and some treats for Didymous. She walks up to the car with this puppy with a big belly and these huge black eyes, I knew we were going to have two dogs.
She was the most calm, layed back dog I have ever met. She would let me do just about anything I wanted to her and all she did would look up at me with those eyes. If Jen and I were sitting on the couch she used to wiggle her way in between us and actually kick Jen off the couch. The Leopard print Chair and Ottoman were hers and she would sit and stare at you until you moved out of her chair.
She used to love playing with other puppies, she would let them crawl all over her and make sure they did not get hurt. Even when she was beating up Didymous she always made sure to let him win from time to time.
She was a punkrock dog at heart, when she got mad or scared she had a mohawk that ran down her back.
I am going to miss her energy, the way she would look at me, the way she would roll on her back to get our attention. She was a very smart dog, vindictive at times, but very smart. All we had to do was say "Let's go" and she would come running from anywhere in the house.
It broke my heart when she was not able to walk on either back leg. I stayed with her through the whole thing and she finally passed with her head in my lap.
I am glad she did not suffer.
I miss her. She was my baby.
