Tonight, Friday the 13th, two events
"The Wanderers" crit race (short laps)
7pm meets at 5th/Flower Downtown
There will be a gang theme, each location protecting the goal in their
"turf" the racers (the Wanderers) will go from spot to spot trying to evade
the territorial gangsters, the remainders of Friday night rush hour, and the
ever present Los Angeles Police Department. You don't have to race to be
part of this, you can participate as a gangster.
There is a suggested donation as the event is to raise money for a former
messenger who developed a brain tumor.
Midnight Rydazz Prom Ride (monthly themed bike rides)
9:30pm Meet at Echo Park Blvd./Sunset Blvd.
A twist on those Prom Parties that were all cool like 2 years ago. This time
instead of hipsters and coke, we're doing it with geeks and bicycles! Dress
to impress!

RIDE OF SILENCE
Gretna Green Way at San Vicente Blvd., Los Angeles
Join cyclists nationwide in a silent slow-paced ride in honor of those who
have been injured or killed while cycling on America's public roadways.
I am going to be meeting at the Bicycle Kitchen at 5pm to ride to the

The 2nd annual Blessing of the Bicycles
Put on by Good Sam Hospital (1225 Wilshire Blvd) east of MacArthur Park.
There will be a light breakfast provided, REI will be hosting a raffle, and
