Getting hyped about fasting...

So I tried to do a juice/fast/cleanse before, (mmm maybe around 2 years ago?) and it only lasted for 2 days. The first day was easy because I slept 1/2 of it away, but the 2 day I caved in. Not because I couldn't take it, but because that afternoon I had to put one of my kittens to sleep. With all the emotional stress, I felt super weak and had to eat.

So as of recent, I began toying with the idea of doing the Masta'Cleanz because a couple of friends are on it now. Looking it up on the might www, I discovered that many, if not all, doctors disapprove of it. I checked out other forms of detoxing ones body and found juice/veggie 3-day fasts & Ayurveda rituals. These sounded a bit less intense, but talking it over with Dy (we are gonna do it the same time), we op'ed to keep with the MC plan and to approach it more as a physical and mental challenge!
Hopefully when we start back eatting again, we will adjust it to a healthier menu

We are gonna start on Thursday (I got a lunch meeting tomorrow
) which means it will end in time for the Flaming Lips concert on the 17th! Woot!
But until then, I have been eating normally with the exception of a cup of hot lemon water this morning.
It's suppose to help with the aid in digestion and the such...(like make your skin glow
)

Really, I don't have much to lose outtah this experience, so I figured to give it a go. I would like to drop maybe 3-5 pounds, build more muscle mass, and tone my jiggly legs!
I hate that shite. We will be walking at least 2 miles every evening and I'll probably try to do some yoga/stretches during the day. Oh and clean house and clutter. Because what else is there to do with all that time you use to prep food/eat? So consider this a warning.
I'll post entries to describe my mindframe and changes in my system throughout the detox. Should be interesting to say the least, if not frequent.

Now I need to make a list of the things I will keep myself occupied with during these 10 days...

meals, new, shite
