Halloween 2007

This year's Hallow's Eve was super fun. The week prior, Mr Eff got me on the spirit train by helping him sew/put together his costume. And I must say, even though it was hard work, it was a very fun project. It got me motivated enough to try a hand at making my own outfit too!
Too bad we didn't actually get to meet up at a point with both of us dressed up.
Saturday Dy and I hung out with PJ and Pixiegurl and brought them to the Murakami Opening down in jtown. Us gurlz luved it while the boyz played art snobs and exclaimed it to be sweatshop illustrator art. Hah! The main lure for moi was that Dj Krush was spinin' and I knew it would be kool. Unfortunately my camera ran outta juice right as we entered. Sorry, no pics
After, Dy and I headed over to sawtelle's best buy for Activision's GHIII release party. Being exclusively on the VIP, we got to hang out upstairs the last hour 1/2 of it with open bars and drunken gamer-nerds battling at the game stations. It was a tough decision, but we traded up seeing Poision(who performed there earlier) for the art opening. All his coworkers where ripped and kept calling Dy 'the White Rabbit'. Heheh that's what you get for costuming up(a week early) to work that friday. He is now the new weirdo. Davidicuz gave up the throne.

The actual day of Halloween was spent again with Dj Krush. A bunch of us went to check him out at the KnitFact where he did a fricking 4 hour set! Awesome! My gang were in full gear, and I thought so would others there, but unfortunately, the hiphop heads would rather look 'down' then 'festive'. I'd say the ratio was 1:6. Prior we did some marios and it was the first time I didn't get a funny-tummy feeling. The need for 'escaping' happened throughout the night, where I proceeded to leave some sort of crazy message on Kat's phone. She understands me though...

This past sunday, Dy and I cruzed 'round ktown where we discovered this cute Tea House called Haroo. Hahahaha YES. Dy loved the name right off the bat. It's his favorite 'let-me-try-to-sound-like-a-fobby-asian' word ever and the cafe was named after it. Bastard

Dy and his depression reliever tea.

Now I'm testing out this japanese sesame cheesecake recipe. If all goes well, I'll be using this in other baking experiments.* Will posts pics of outcomes lattahz.
