Sometimes I miss living by the river; when it was snowing or late at night I liked to walk Heisa down the street and look at the boats and the lights and, more recently, all that frozen sludge. That's probably all that I miss about that house and that street. In retrospect, it's probably not good to like being outside of your house more than you like being inside your house.

Lots of time-killing activities lately: baking, so much yoga, comics, 24, soup-making, book club, hating library school, giggling, analyzing, produce buying, making epic feasts with my brother, etc.

Things are good.
