aright aright so when saturday hit i got excited about my birthday. i started out waking up somewhat early and getting my arm tattooed by jet (shawn's birthday/christmas present to me).

it gets finished on march 13!! i'm stoookkkkkeeeeeddd! jet's fucking amazing!!! seriously, he's crazy talented and he works quick as fuck. i really want him to do every tattoo i get from now on.
annnyyhowww later i went to shawns and started pregaming when he got out of work at 10. stef, jen, chad, zak, britt, matt, yeah they were there too. me and shawn drank like 4 jagerbombs and chugged 3 beers. then we headed to quimbys, which is just a small local bar, but people had to work in the morning and i'd rather save the downtown thing for when i can go out a little earlier. once we got to the bar we really got our drink on. i can't remember the last half of the night, but i had fun reguardless and i got hammered, figures. i really don't drink much anymore AT ALL, but its my 21st so fuck it! i guess the last half of the night ended in jen screaming at shawn, chad almost getting in a fight with some random dude, and everyone crying. well, i don't remember that shit and its unfortunate that something bad has to happen on my birthday every year, but i had fun anyways so i'm not sweatin it.
sunday, i decided to take it easy. shawn, my mother and i went to house of sushi for dinner and then to the little to see pan's labyrinth. i really have never seen that theater so packed before! the movie was really good, i was excited for it for a long time. a lot of it is about the spanish civil war, more so than the fantasy-like part. its pretty dark and violent too. its definatly an interesting and different take on the typical fairytale. later i went out to bergen to chill with matt and zach. some other kids were there and we watched slither (awesome movie, if you haven't seen it).
i haven't been to bed yet. i got home and decided to check all my shizz on hurrr cause i haven't been online in a while and i got a $75 gift certificate from this kid who i talk to about movies all the time on myspace!! he lives in wyoming. i don't really meet people off myspace and i'm skeptical about who i talk to if i've never met them before, but i do talk to a couple people about films regularly. but anyways, i'm real fuckin excited and goddamn that was really nice of him!
i've been all moapy and negative the last few months, but hopefully my birthday will switch things up a bit? i'm really reallyyyy trying to be more optimistic about everything. its so much less stressful. oh yeah, i got a car too! not having a car suckkkeeed.
FUCK i gotta go to bed, then to work in a bit. gaaahhh!!
