He had heard the man was in the castle, and Miles actually went looking for him (probably one of the few who would ever think of doing that). He excused himself from the hospital ward and only followed the whisperings of students until the tall blond man was down the hall.

Miles opened his mouth to call the man's attention... but realized he wasn't quite sure what to address him as. 'Malfoy' seemed too immature, and 'sir' was a far stretch.

"Why haven't I heard back from you?" he asked in a low voice only the man would hear when Miles was next to him.
