Wow. I mean... wow! How very awesomely interestingly amazing! *crams in a bunch of other adjectives but they dribble back out at the last minute* I loved this and the footnotes *glee* and the feel of it... all just very, very well done! Excellent!

*struggles for words* My gods, I am a huge fan of drawing parallels in metaphysical ways, and this is completely brilliant.

I was seriously on the verge of tears when Lucifer raged. I wanted to shake Crowley and make him listen. I even worried (briefly) for Famine's sake. By contrast, your footnotes took the sting of sadness away. Ducks apparently are every bit as much a cure for things as tea.

Completely brilliant. I wonder if I know who you are, Secret Author... but I'm going to be patient.

Oh wow, this was a fantastic story. I can't even point out a place I liked the best. It was well thought out and well written. Loved it!
