Bee makes a cheery raspberry sound, then fiddles with the string for a moment, getting the loop open with the near surgical delicacy that all Transformers are capable of.

Ironhide bats it gently back toward Endeavour. "No."

"Sure you do." The Root Bear is tossed back.

Dev stares at the jovial orange bear in her hand for a moment before getting up and walking straight over to Ironhide.

She stares into his optics, then, with surprising speed and efficiency hangs the ornament off of his head and books it.

He blinks in surprise, then gives a bellow as Chromia pops around the door and takes a picture of him. The ornament is dropped gently as he bellows and goes after his laughing wife.

"Watch where you're going!" scolds Ratchet, stepping back to let them pass.

Bee just shakes her head and makes like grinning as she picks up the little bear and hangs it next to its sibling.

Dev has run all the way to the back of the hangar, exiting it through the back set of doors.

There's a momentary rumble as she transforms and flies back over the hangar, then shifts again and walks through the front door, sitting in front of the tree once more as though nothing had happened.

"You know you're weird, right?" Bumblebee asks her amiably, glancing at Ratchet, who has walked over to the couch to check on Elita.

"Known it since 1992," Dev retorts with a grin.

Ratchet looks over his shoulder at the tree, then down at his wife and daughter. "Dev, Columbia, close your eyes."

Dev rolls hers. "That sounds very ominous, you know."

Still, she puts one hand over her optics and uses her other to shield those of her daughter.

"I think you'll like this." His voice holds laughter as a soft yammering sound makes Bumblebee murmur with surprise and interest.

"Right," Dev says, still hiding behind her hand. "What is that noise?"

Columbia squirms excitedly, but otherwise doesn't move.

Something soft and damp slurps across her cheek, and then there's a soft whine and a paw patting at her hand.

Ratchet chuckles, surprised that the young dog has recognized a face and responded to it as he would have to a human one. "You can look now."

Dev parts her fingers and is face to face with a rather large canine, who has drawn back slightly and is surveying her with that sort of lucid, dim doggy-grin that is the trademark of dogs everywhere. The dog was black and white and had a red ribbon tied primly around its neck.

"It's a dog," is all that she can manage to say.

Columbia gasps and shies away, but after a few seconds puts her head in between her mother's arm and torso to get a better look.
