Sorry for not updating... yet again

I've been lazy the last couple of weeks and just haven't been updating. My job was really demanding for a while which basically meant that I had no time to play around on the internet and after staring at a computer all day, the last thing I wanted to do was to go home and tun on the computer.

Let's see...I've stopped rotating jobs, which makes me ecstatic. I finally realized that changing my team members and getting to know them to the level which allows me to work best with them was really emotionally draining and having to do that every 6 months killed me. The ironic thing was that I took a personality test shortly thereafter and it basically told me that I shouldn't rotate my job description every 6 months. So, for now, I am happy in my current position and we'll see where this takes me.

Related to work was my holiday party this past weekend. I went with Hiro, Effie and Sarah. It was really hectic. There was a lot to see and eat! My god... there were at least 4 rooms that had tons of food. I felt really disoriented. I feel like I talked to all of my coworkers for only 5 minutes and would wander around and meet someone else and talk for 5 minutes. There was no actual conversation besides... "oh hello spouse. Great party, huh? Yeah, they had some cool stuff over there? Oh really, we're going to go check it out. "

Before the pictures, I would just like to say that it was Moulin Rouge themed!

Oh yes... you best believe that there is a giant feather thing in my hair and covers half of Hiro's face!

A bar made entirely out of ice!

And what kind of a party would it be with Can-can dancers?

On the food front, I've always been perplexed that Japanese-style cheesecakes don't have crusts. Don't they know that the crust is the best part of the cheesecake? And thus, I had to rectify the situation by making a Japanese style cheesecake with crust. As a point of clarification, Japanese-style cheesecakes are a lot lighter and more souffle-like than the New York-Style cheesecake.

The cake...

And obviously Hiro likes it...

Shout out to everyone who is still reading this. Shout out even more if you leave comments! :)

Happy Holidays!
