Surely procrastination can be officially classed as a skill, right? Because goodness knows I excel at it. Had a test for which I had to study, but ended up watching 4 episodes of Parks and Recreation and writing a rather ‘I’m feeling emo’ entry, which I didn’t post, but rather used as a starting point for a short story that I devised. But now that test is done and dusted, and I can have my semblance of a life back and stop ignoring other pressing matters. I’m going to start watching The Pacific now. Hellloooo pretty boys World War 2 history!
Due to aforementioned test, I missed out on watching Psycho in my Intro to Cinema Studies screening. But that’s ok. This subject is pretty much the most awesome thing ever. My lecturer showed us a clip from Celebrity Death Match (Hitchcock vs Spielberg) and my tutor rambled on about how wrong it is to find Michael C Hall attractive in Dexter. I wanted to reassure her that she wasn't the only one, but I managed to keep my mouth shut this tute and not make myself look like a tosser. Mission accomplished, I say.
Flist!
Who should I go see this year at the Melb International Comedy Festival? So far, I have David O'Doherty, Nina Conti and Adam Hills. Time and funds permitting (especially since Fiji is actually happening! Booked flights on Monday night), of course.
