I will miss you show! You began rather poorly and was fucked over by Fox, but gathered momentum and awesomeness. It's a pity you had to die on such a high note. But you shall be remembered amongst the Jossverse (albeit, like that odd Uncle you're a bit indifferent to, but must like out of familial obligations)!

The series finale was pretty damn good for what it was and it nicely ended the series. I just wish it had more time for backstory and explorin'. But here's some incoherent thoughts:
I really like how they linked the 'two' subplots together; Felicia Day's group to Team Echo. It was very seamless. I like seamless.
The Tech-heads = ZOMG, AWESOME. In their leather-laden, punk-ish way. Personality on a USB stick? Sweer. Though I really didn't like the failed mutiny. I understand the point of it (tech = power) but it was poorly played out and a wee bit lame.
Paul dying was sudden! Hardly any immediate emotion. It was just a shock. Echo having her outburst was sad, but it just became cringe-worthy. Thanks, Eliza Dushku, thanks.
Alpha is good, yay! It was just good to see Alan Tudyk on screen, to be honest, no matter in what capacity. ♥
Adelle and Topher broke my heart. Topher's evolution from arrogant, amoral nerd (who I liked anyway) to troubled, burdened boy is so beautifully sad. And Adelle becoming a mother-figure just makes Topher's sacrifice even harder to digest. :(
What happened to Whiskey? Mr Dominic? Now, that I would like to know.
Anyway, I hope Enver Gjokaj goes on to do great things, because he is super-versatile and is, no doubt, the find of the show.

Also caught up on Community (the eps since the Winter hiatus have been a bit 'meh') and now, onto Skins! I am now a proud owner of 30 Rock S1-3, so I've been marathon-ing that (up to disc 3 of S1) and shall be doing that lots now since 1) tennis is over and 2) I'm getting my wisdom teeth out next week and will be M.I.A for a week.

And just for the LOLZ: Mad Men’s Michael Gladis Reviews His Co-stars’ Off-Season Beards. I need more Mad Men in my life. Should I wait for the S3 DVDs or download it? Hmmmm.

tv, what life?, whedonverse
