(no subject)
I decided that six weeks was long enough to go without updating. Summer has been good...it's been fun being out of school, but I'm ready to go back! I had such a desire to go to Macon State, I was so set on going. But God does NOT want me to go. It was hard to accept because it completely interrupted my plans, but I know my life will be better in the end by doing what He wants me to do.
I'm going back to Middle Georgia Tech in September and I'm studying Childhood Education, considering that's the only thing there that I'm even remotely interested in. He wants me to go back there for some reason, that I'm sure He'll reveal to me eventually.
I met a guy, well, I kinda knew him already. His name is Andrew and he works with me at Chickfila. He's a strong Christian, really sweet, and just overall, a really great guy!! I guess you could say we've been talking and I'm kinda wondering if he'll ask me out or not. We'll see. I kinda think him and I need to establish whether we're friends or heading toward something more because people are starting to ask questions. Either way, I'm content. I want God's best for my life and if he's not it, then I don't want him. I'm going to his family's house tonight to celebrate the fourth and I'm pretty excited!! :)
Last week, I went to Virginia to see my friend Samantha I hadn't seen in FOREVER! It was SO much fun!! I loved spending time with her and her family and going to King's Dominion and Williamsburg. It was the highlight of my summer for sure!!
